Canadian Vox Cantoris 10th Amendment Of The Constitution Of The United States Of America Is The Model Of Catholic Subsidiarity.

The 10th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America is the model of Catholic subsidiarity. Dave Domet
....ah NO. The 10th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America was not written with Catholic subsidiarity in mind.

Complete paragraph:
It seems to me that the 10th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America is the model of Catholic subsidiarity. It states that "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Since the Constitution is silent on the whole issue of marriage, how can the SCOTUS force a State to go along with its redefinition of marriage? Has this been interfered with before without States' objections leading to a de facto abrogation?
What is Catholic subsidiarity? Don't know. It is another one of those 'Catholic' fables - kinda like making the Lord of the Rings into some Catholic Sacramental study guide.

Stop turning the US Constitution into a Catholic document.

Stop turing the US Government into a Catholic form of government

Stop claiming modern democracy is from God.

Stop talking about Catholic subsidiarity as if subsidiarity is a legitimate practical science that has been in place since the time of Adam.

Just shut the hell up already.

Read Dante & Ockham on the Divinely Ordained Authority of The Holy Roman Emperor and come up with some better ideas.....the lot of you are boring....soooooo very boring..
